One word and it has caused churches to be burnt down and cars being attacked on the street. So stupid!

First of all, I don't understand why the Christians insist on using the word "Allah" when they can easily use the word "Tuhan" instead, and especially when they know the word itself has caused so much conflict with the Muslims.

Second, since when did the word "Allah" belong to the Muslims?
Is it written down in black and white anywhere in the book of life?

And why is it that such harsh destruction be used to show your anger? Burning down churches? Attacking cars on the road? I don't see masjids being burnt down or your cars being attacked. So who's the barbarian here?

Is this the way YOUR Allah taught you?
To destroy and burn and wreck things to get your way?
Because honestly, I don't think any God, or Allah or Buddha want things to happen like that.

So, is it really Allah that you're 'fighting' so hard for?
Or something else?
To answer your question as to why some Malaysian Catholics are fighting for the right to use the word "Allah", it's because the roughly 715,000 Malay speaking Catholics in East Malaysia have been using that term throughout their entire lives, as have their forebearers. They are not fighting to CHANGE their practice, they are fighting to MAINTAIN it.
ReplyDeleteIf the government one day decided to ban the use of the word "God" in the country in the context in which you understand it, would you not also fight for your belief? Or would you concede and actually change the name by which you know your God?
